Our 5 Week Course is ideal for both newcomers and those with experience - everyone is welcome!
We'll give you the space and tools you need to explore your creative side through the medium of clay, plus the benefit of plenty of one-on-one instruction.

Our weekly pottery classes provide instruction, equipment and materials for the total beginner or experienced pottery. You'll learn every step of the process, from raw clay to finished ceramics!
Experience the therapeutic nature of working with clay and explore your own creative projects. We'll equip you every step of the way and you'll finish the class by prepping your pieces for the kiln and glazing your own handmade collection!

During weeks two through four, we'll dedicate time to introduce a variety of hand-building techniques. You'll have the option to follow along or explore your own projects each week!

Amber
With experience in handbuilding, sculpting, and wheel throwing, Amber will walk you through the ins-and-outs of all things clay. Boasting over three years of experience with the HSTN Team, she not only instructs but infuses passion into every creative endeavor. Beyond the studio, catch her on the hockey field or enjoying game nights with friends!

Florence
Florence has been part of the Handmade Team for three years, sharing her love for clay that started in high school. With a BFA in Fine Arts from CCAD, she's well-versed in pottery techniques. Outside the studio, she's busy chasing her toddler and enjoying family walks at Shelby Bottoms.

+ TUESDAY CLASS (SOLD OUT): May 21st, May 28th, June 4th, June 11th, June 25th (+ additional make up class available June 11th!)
+ Current Class (SOLD OUT): April 9th, April 16th, April 23rd, April 30th, May 14th (+ additional make up class available May 7th!)
+ Class Price: $429 — Includes one-on-one instruction, access to all of our equipment, all glazes from our signature pallet, all firings. If you prefer to pay for class in 2 installments, just email handmadestudiotn1@gmail.com
+ Not included: Clay ($39 per 25lb bag) & Optional Tools: $25 one time fee. *All clay used must be purchased from Handmade Studio TN
+ Cancellation: 7 or more days prior to the start date of the first class (100% credit applied to future class). Cancellation less than 10 days before the first class starts is not eligible for credit.
+ This class is welcome to all ages 15 & up! *ages 15-18 will have to have a signed waiver by a parent or guardian
