JOB DESCRIPTION

The role of Studio Production Assistant is focused on assisting with everyday studio tasks such as upkeep, shipping, glazing, kiln loading, etc. As a Studio Assistant, you will help maintain a clean and efficient workspace and assist in creating products with precision, speed and attention to detail.  This is a very hands-on physical job.  The majority of your time will be spent wedging, preparing clay for the slab roller, prepping slabs, and building pottery. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and dedicated to producing consistent and beautiful pieces. It is important this person is personable and friendly, as we work in a communal space and host our customers for shopping and workshop experiences. Compensation will be hourly and based on experience.
