Experience a weekend brimming with creativity and relaxation! Kickstart your journey with a welcome clay workshop at Handmade Studio TN, where you'll craft your personalized floral serving pieces. The following day offers another exclusive clay workshop, along with ample free time to explore the city or relax on your own before a step by step floral design workshop. We'll finish the day with al fresco dining at Morgan's house. The last day consists of calming yoga and a farewell breakfast (& craft lattes from The Flower Kitchen). All of these enriching experiences are included in your registration for the Summer Retreat!

What to Expect

6:30pm - 8:30pm

Day 1

Welcome Workshop in our Nashville studio! Our team will walk you through how to make your own Set of Salad Plates out of clay while enjoying charcuterie, wine & dessert. All attendees get 15% off any pottery purchase!

10am - 1pm

Day 2 - Morning

We are back in our studio the next morning for a 2-Piece Serving Set Workshop! Create a dip bowl & choose between a Serving Bowl or Serving Platter to go with it. Fresh blooms & lace will be available to emboss. Complete with a delightful brunch and mimosas.

5:30pm - 7pm

Day 2 - Evening

After an afternoon of free-time in Nashville, we will meet back up for a Floral Workshop at The Flower Kitchen. Expect a beautiful supply of fresh blooms that you will learn to arrange in a keepsake vase! Light snacks & mocktails will be served.

7:30pm - 9pm

Day 2 - Night

We will end the day at Morgan's house with a sit down dinner.

Think cocktails under twinkly lights, savory food, like-minded community, & rich conversations.

9am - 11am

Day 3

The last day will be spent at The Flower Kitchen for group yoga, followed by craft lattes & a delicious breakfast spread! You'll leave with new friends, new skills, and beautiful keepsake pieces from our weekend together.

Morgan Williamson

Morgan Williamson lives in Nashville, TN and has been creating functional ceramics for over a decade. Her passion for creating beautiful and unique pieces has captivated the hearts of many. Morgan’s ceramics have been featured in Southern Living, Diani Living, Food52 and The Magnolia Network.

With her workshops and retreats, Morgan brings people together in a safe and supportive environment where they can express their creativity and find joy in the process. Her warm and welcoming demeanor, combined with her exceptional skill and artistry, make her events an inspiring and delightful experience.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a clay workshop regular, you are welcome around the table to create, connect and embrace a refreshing weekend retreat in Nashville TN.

Melissa Broadwell

Melissa, the owner of Vintage Florals, ventured into a new chapter alongside her husband a year ago with the launch of The Flower Kitchen. This establishment not only offers craft coffee, house-made pastries, tea, and stunning floral arrangements but also strives to foster meaningful connections among its guests. In a really busy town full of creative energy and business, they aim to provide a sanctuary where people can take a moment to pause, unwind and linger awhile.

Melissa's talent in floral design has garnered attention, with her work featured in esteemed publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, and Style Me Pretty.
